"This is rural, very small town America. There are no glitzy hotels, noisy casinos, hottie sports bars, or fast food joints here. Those are 30-40 miles away. BUT..... If you are looking for a haven to return to each night that is very close to some of the best hiking, fishing, and hunting in the Uinta Mountains of Utah, or if you want a quiet get away vacation, this is it. These are the nicest folks. The rooms are spacious and clean."

"I love this place! The Inn is nestled at the base of the Sleeping Beauty mountain and has access to year round fun and frivolity. No matter what your outdoor likes it is all accessible from this oasis. God made the Uinta Basin in the image of his home I am sure. Mountain Home Inn & Store is the perfect getaway for any occasion. The new management has improved and will continue improving this beautiful Lodge-like Inn."
