Blue Mountain

Here’s a vague story of a mine located somewhere at the base of Blue Mountain east of Vernal, UT. A guy I know told me a story about two guys who had a mine near the base of Blue Mountain on a ridge he thought they called Mustang Ridge or something like that--something to do with horses. Anyway, these two guys had this mine and must have gotten quite a bit of gold from it. They both retired on the spoils of this mine and moved to Arizona or someplace warm. One day they decided to come back and get some more of that gold. Well, as most of these stories go, they couldn’t find the mine again. They searched and searched and finally gave up and went back home. Before they left they told someone about the mine and as far as I know he is still searching for it to this day.
