Farm Creek Symbol Trees

I was out hiking around the mouth of Farm Creek Canyon looking for the smelters one day and found these trees with interesting Spanish markings on them. It is hard to say if they are authentic or not. They don’t look old enough to be early Spanish, but may be later Mexican miners--or they may be a hoax. You decide.
